The packet never closes the same way twice.
You fold it. You clip it. You put it back. Two days later the corner has opened, crumbs are loose, and the snack tastes like the cupboard.
The physical problem
The weak point is not the middle. It is the open edge.
A clip holds pressure in one place. The corners still lift. The folded film still relaxes. Air still slips back through the gap.
The corner becomes the leak.
That small lifted corner is enough to let air, moisture and crumbs move through the bag again.
The tool closes the edge instead of holding the middle.
This is a small rechargeable heat sealer for compatible snack and plastic packet edges. It is not a vacuum sealer.
Why this might beat a normal clip
Clips are convenient. They just do not rebuild the broken seal.
Normal clip
- Holds one compressed point.
- Can leave corners open.
- Adds bulky clips to drawers and cupboards.
Edge sealer
- Closes along the packet edge.
- Creates a clear before/after in two seconds.
- Small enough for a low-risk product lab test.
Fulfilment truth
We are not opening orders until the route is clean.
A product can be interesting and still not be ready to sell. This one is approved for content practice and waitlist demand, but the observed Kenya route is not good enough for a live promise yet.
Kenya check
Observed CJ route: CJPacket Liquid Line, DDU, 20-60 days. That stays waitlist-only until we verify a better route or backup supplier.
US / Canada check
Separate US/Canada route and warehouse check still required. If the fast route clears first, this can open there while Kenya remains waitlist.
